Do the maths before you ask
Four tools we use daily when preparing a job — material mass, ISO 286 fits, cutting parameters and hardness conversion. Use them yourself.
Material mass
Estimate the mass of stock or a finished blank before ordering material and when checking transport.
ISO 286 tolerances and fits
Check deviations and fit type when the drawing gives only the class designation, with no limits written in.
Cutting parameters
Quick spindle speed and feed check when preparing a program or verifying cycle time.
A starting value, not a guarantee. The final regime depends on the machine, clamping, tooling and system rigidity.
Hardness converter
When the drawing calls for one scale and the inspection report gives another — HRC, HV and HB for steel, with indicative tensile strength.
Values are indicative and meant for job preparation. The technical drawing, the applicable standard and your own verification always take precedence.
Send the drawing, get a quote.
We review the documentation, check feasibility and come back with price and lead time — usually within two working days.
